Abbas Law PLLC Achieves Form I-485 Approval
We are happy to share that Abbas Law PLLC recently achieved approval for a Form I-485 Application to Adjust Status filed by a foreign national in “U Status” for Victims of Criminal Activity! The U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) issued the approval without any substantive Requests for Evidence (“RFEs”).
EB-5 Program Extended Until September 30, 2018
As part of the federal government spending bill that was passed by Congress this week, the EB-5 Program has also survived for a few more months. At the moment, the program will continue without any changes, so the investment minimums of $1,000,000 (non-Targeted Employment Area) and $500,000 (in Targeted Employment Areas) still stand. However, there is a very high likelihood that these amounts will be increased, and that other changes will be implemented, in the near future.
